DDS’s glasses were also revised a couple of times. While we thought that he should be wearing glasses, the early glasses we created for him either obscured all expression from his eyes, or created unsightly shadows across his face.

The old glasses were too bulky. The smaller ones were created
using a NURBS cylinder for the frame and NURBS spheres for the lenses.

We even tried attaching his eyes to his lenses, but in the end opted for a small pair
that sat on the ridge of his nose. These left his eyebrows unobscured.
