Set Development

Lauren Brom was handed the task of developing the riverbank environment for our scene. She began by collecting a vast range of reference images and pasting these onto display boards so that we, as a group, could decide on the look that we were after. These were very useful in creating discussion points regarding the river and thereby refining our vision of the role of this scene in the overall screenplay. I cannot emphasize enough the importance of the group discussions that we had regarding both the characters and the set. While they often did little to alter the plan being presented, they helped tremendously in creating a unified vision amongst the project participants, and this meant fewer and fewer design revisions as we progressed.
